- After an update is released modifying the program version, scripthook will refuse to work, this is because that version of scripthook was designed to work with that extremely specific version of V. It's very annoying, and even a 60mb update like todays can ruin the fun.
- This page is a mirror to Alexander Blade's download site. Note that it doesn't work in RDR Online, script hook closes RDR 2 when the player goes in multiplayer, see details in the readme.
- GTA IV Script Hook Redist Since original links are not available anymore, I'm publishing aru's Script Hook Redist here, every good thing must stay online forever! Redist ( ScriptHook.dll ) is needed in order to run asi scripts which were built using aru's Script Hook SDK, make sure that you read and understand the license before using it.
- All of this works automatically, just drop all scripts into the 'scripts' directory as before and ScriptHookVDotNet will do the magic behind the scenes. This update also includes the v2.10.11 update to v2. The console is opened with the F4 key. Open it and enter Help for more information on how to use it.
Apr 23, 2015 Script Hook V is the library that allows to use GTA V script native functions in custom.asi plugins. Note that it doesn't work in GTA Online, script hook disables custom scripts when player goes in multiplayer. This distrib also includes the latest Asi Loader and Native Trainer. This SDK allows you to write ScriptHookV ASI plugins for GTA V using Free Pascal.
The whole Native Database has been converted from C to Pascal - every requirement to compile a working ASI, is included in the package.
USAGE:
Do not start a new Lazarus project! Just open the LPI file with Lazarus 64-bit.
IT WORKS:
I used this SDK in the Barefoot mod, which works perfectly.
If you find ANY BUGS, non-working functions, please comment!
Anyway - the main idea behind Pascal GTA scripting is not just the syntax, but I failed to set the C compiler and linker properly, so it could not link to ScriptHookV DLL. Pascal can generate the import library from source code - no need to set the compiler.
